General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is the most significant piece of privacy and data protection in twenty years. It took effect on 25th May 2018 and from that date we are required to ensure that we gain a new data protection and privacy consent from all clients. In it (amongst other things) we confirm what information we hold about you and how we are permitted to use it.
Bodyrocktherapy is committed to processing data in accordance with its responsibilities under the GDPR. All personal data shall be: processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to individuals.
Privacy Policy
Bodyrocktherapy ensures the privacy of all clients is respected and any personal information that is taken during consultation is stored privately and securely and only ever accessed by Diana.
The health history data given by yourself during your initial consultation and treatment is required to be taken in accordance with governing body guidelines to establish the most appropriate and necessary treatment for your best interest.
From April 14th 2021, all data will be stored in a secure cloud based system through the software WriteUpp which is ISO certified and encrypted. Personal data, health history and clinical notes are all stored on their servers.
Written data gathered preceding this date is stored privately and securely and is required by law to be kept for 7 years following your last visit. After this time, all personal information held will be deleted.
Additional contact information (email, telephone) is used for the purpose of contacting you regarding your classes/bookings or any health & safety concerns.
You will only ever be contacted for promotional purposes (upcoming events & newsletters) should you subscribe to our content though the bodyrocktherapy website.
If you wish to unsubscribe from any promotion material you can do this via the unsubscribe link on our newsletters/emails.
Studio/Online Class Waiver
You accept and understand that Pilates is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. You recognise that it is your responsibility to notify your teacher of any illness or injury before any class so appropriate modifications can be suggested but you understand that you are responsible for judging your ability to participate.
Before beginning any new exercise or stretching regime/class, Bodyrocktherapy recommends you speak with your own health care provider before you take part.
If at any time during the class you feel pain or strain, gently come out of what you are doing. Rest at any time during the class. It is important in that you listen to your body and respect its limitations on any given day.
You accept that neither the instructor (Diana), nor the facility (Yellow Bamboo Yoga), is liable for any injury, or damages, to your person or property resulting from your participation in a class.
Live Streaming/Prerecorded Class Waiver/Pain Programmes
Live Streamed classes are recorded for subscription content. This data is stored in a secure server using the Namastream online platform. Whilst the class is being recorded, only the teacher (Diana) is being filmed. However, you understand and acknowledge that should you interact with the teacher during the class, your voice may also be recorded.
Each full (60minute) class will be available to replay but access will only be part of a paid subscription. Short clips from some classes may be available to view publicly but will never, under any circumstances, include a participants image or voice.
You also accept and understand that the instructor (Diana), is not liable for any injury to your person whilst performing the exercises in these programmes. These programmes are not intended to be a replacement for medical advice and is intended for education only.
Therapy Cancellations
I kindly request a minimum of 24 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduled appointments.
(Please note that Monday appointment cancellations must be made by Friday at the latest)
In the event of cancellations or rescheduling being made within the 24 hour period, your appointment will still be charged at the full rate unless the appointment can be filled.
No show appointments will be expected to pay in advance for future bookings.
On booking your class/appointment you are agreeing to the above T&Cs.
