What is Remedial Massage Therapy?

Advanced remedial massage differs greatly from a relaxation massage.  In order to identify the musculoskeletal dysfunction that is causing pain or discomfort, an in-depth consultation is taken and appropriate orthopaedic assessments are used.  This combination allows the treatment to be far more efficient and effective.

What to expect?

Advanced remedial massage utilises advanced techniques that go beyond the traditional massage strokes associated with Swedish Massage. Trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, neuromuscular techniques as well as advanced stretching are all important massage applications for the treatment of chronic and acute symptoms of pain.
