What is Indian Head Massage?
This beautiful practice has been in existence in various forms for thousands of years.
The traditional art of Indian Head Massage is based upon the ancient system of medicine known as Ayurveda which is Sanskrit for ‘the science of life and longevity’.
The Ayurvedic element of Indian Head Massage is introduced through the inclusion of chakra balancing, which aims to bring balance and harmony between the energy centers of the throat, forehead, and crown.

How is it performed?
In practice, it is performed seated whilst fully clothed. The treatment consists of a flowing sequence of massage movements to the upper back, shoulders, arms, hands and then working up through the neck, scalp, and face.
